The E+ COOKBOOK – Equality Youth Exchange Program took place from August 22 to 31, 2023, in Kishegyes, Serbia, organized by the Flow-E.R. Environmental Association from Zenta and the Nyírségi Civil Association. The program aimed to bring together young people from six countries: Serbia, Romania, Hungary, Macedonia, the Czech Republic, and Poland. A total of 36 young participants and six group leaders took part in the camp. During the event, various activities were carried out to raise awareness of nutritional needs, develop practical solutions, and promote inclusion.
We held workshops and empowerment sessions to prepare participants for finding new nutritional solutions, improving their quality of life, and advocating for nutritional inclusion. These workshops focused on dietary needs, food preparation, and healthy eating, enriching participants with new ideas and advocacy skills.
We also organized skill-building sessions focusing on leadership, communication, and project management to create a supportive community and prepare participants to multiply the project results.
In practical cooking programs, participants engaged in active activities to test and refine the E+ COOKBOOK recipes. Cultural programs – such as cultural evenings, treasure hunts, and restaurant visits in Novi Sad – promoted cultural understanding and inclusion.
Every day, we held reflection sessions and evaluations to document learning outcomes, ensuring continuous progress and tracking personal development.
The application report received 99 points from the Tempus Public Foundation evaluator and was included in the good practices of the Erasmus+ program.
