The Power of Non Formal Education – Königswinter, Germany

Our Project Manager, Mikusák István, Participates in The Power of Non-Formal Education Program

Our Project Manager, Mikusák István, is one of the lucky participants in one of Europe’s best youth professional training programs, The Power of Non-Formal Education.

Launched in 2009, the first “The Power of Non-Formal Education” training course focused on empowering youth workers, youth leaders, teachers, and other stakeholders to effectively use, underuse, or misuse their power. The course’s emphasis on self-reflection, rather than simply delivering pedagogical tools, made it an especially powerful experience for participants. While some participants found it to be an introduction to the world of non-formal education, for those with extensive experience, it often became a turning point in their daily practice.

The course has been held more than 50 times and continues to evolve. It is organized at least twice a year, and we highly recommend it to anyone working with young people.
