The Power of Cultural Activities and Folk Dance in Community Building – “Let There Be Dance!” Project Opening Conference

The central theme of the international opening conference of the “Let There Be Dance!” project, held from October 28–31 in Zenta (Serbia), was the unifying and community-building power of cultural activities and folk dance.

During the four-day event, representatives from civil and cultural organizations from Hungary, Romania, and Serbia – including members of the FLOW-E.R. Association – gathered to take the first steps toward one of the project’s main goals: mapping and widely disseminating effective methods that enhance the success of cultural organizations focused on folk dance, and comparing them with the efficiency of civil society organizations.
